Disney Timeline: What Era do these Disney Movies Take Place?
Dinosaur – 65 Million BC, Cretaceous Period
Brother Bear – 4,500 BC, (haa·luh·seen) Holocene Era
Moana – 1000 BC, Polynesian migration
Hercules – around 400 AD or 1400 AD, end of Roman Empire (Hercules uses Roman name not his greek name Heracles and Hades mentions the month of August named after Ceaser Augustus)
The Lion King – possibly around the same time as Hercules as Hercules wore scar’s face; But Zazu sings it’s a small world which was written in 1964. Lion King 1 1/2 also messes up the Lion King Timeline, so I’ll save this for a later video.
The Emperor's New Groove – 1200 AD
Sleeping Beauty – 1400 AD
Alladin Takes Place around the Mid 1420s: As he lands on the roof of the Forbidden City in China which was built after 1420 AD But he also met Hercules before unless the cartoon series is not canon Because if so House of Mouse implies all shows happen at the same time.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame – 1492 AD
Pocahontas – 1607 AD
Mulan Takes place before 1644 AD before the Collapse of the Ming Dynasty but after the completion of the Forbidden City.
