He starts off with saying that he is going to narrate few stories and talk about how things take turn from good to great. Explains the theme of the event ‘Avant Garde’. He says that the research process he has gone through to prepare for this talk, has changed him as a person. Four prominent personalities Mr. JRD Tata, Mr. Satyajit Ray, Wright Brothers and Mrs. Sudha Murthy were the ones in their respective fields who took a step to do something different and move from good to great. What ifs shouldn’t be a barrier to success. Taking the first step against odds is all that matters. Ends the talk with his own Avantgarde moment, the book he has written has been a ray of hope for him just when he thought nothing was left for him. Mr. Sayan Chakraborty hails to the city of joy, Kolkata, has pursued Entrepreneurship as a subject, and although being one of the newest entrepreneurs, he has been acknowledged by the King of Indian Industries, Mr. Ratan Tata for his impeccable work!
