We are building a mount rushmore of ben 10 classic villains! We’ve already got Dr. Animo up there and the next one is another no brainer. Vilgax is the most ruthless and intimidating villain in the original series. His backstory is tied in with the omnitrix and why ben gets it in the first place. Seeing him heal up all first season really built tension not to mention grandpa max freaked out at the sound of his name. Their history really set vilgax up to be this space tyrant figure. This man is the definition of aura. He just takes ben out with ease. Not to mention there is no getting rid of vilgax. Ben can beat him all day, but he’s like that simpsons meme. He survives explosion after explosion. He escapes the null void. Even throwing him into space only just slows him down.He is just fully committed to getting that omnitrix and taking over the universe. On a production level, his design is immaculate. He is instantly recognizable as alien because of the tentacles, and he is swole from healing himself up for so long. His voice is so iconic and chilling. Steve Blum pops off as usual!
