Random Rewind 2021: A Year Of Recovery

It's that time, once more. 2021 has come to a close and that means it's time for BLC to say goodbye to yet another year the only way it knows how....with another Random Rewind!

These Random Rewinds I do started out as simply parodies of YouTube Rewinds. But YouTube didn't do one for 2020 and it announced that, as of this year, they will officially be discontinuing YouTube Rewinds for good. But I'm continuing to make my own Rewinds because they've become their own BLC tradition rather than a mere parody of what YouTube used to do.

2021 was quite a year. Not nearly as chaotic or infamous as 2020, but still quite an experience on its own.

From my personal experiences, 2021 had its fair share of ups and downs. For the downs, I had to deal with someone impersonating me on social media repeatedly and trying to get me cancelled online. Then, I had to deal with several trolls on Twitter going after me, and that was a pain in the ass. I also had MORE dramas on Twitter and even on Discord than last year. Afterward, I had a few mental breakdowns. But don't worry, I'm fine now.

Even though there were some bad moments, 2021 also brought a lot of great moments for me (and especially for my channel).

Met Jim Cummings, the voice of Pete and Winnie the Pooh/Tigger
Met Bret Iwan, the voice of Mickey Mouse
Got a Cameo from Mark DeCarlo as Hugh Neutron (courtesy of @Thevidgame )
Got a Cameo from Steve Burns from Blue's Clues
Getting acknowledged by Kaitlyn Robrock, the voice of Minnie Mouse, on Twitter
Improving significantly on my piano playing.
Doing concerts in an Elton John Discord server.
Getting the on-campus College experience
Bringing back Minecraft videos for good for the first time since 2018, in HD quality
Made my own website
Had a SaveBLC campaign where people supported me back when I had 2 copyright strikes.

But most of all, 2021 was a BIG year for my channel because it was the year that Baby Lamb Creations finally reached 100,000 subscribers on YouTube and got a verified checkmark as a result. Not only that, but it was also the year that Baby Lamb Creations turned 5 years old and I sure as heck celebrated the history of my channel throughout the entirety of 2021, and everything was worth it. Especially when I released a successful 100K subscribers special, which I (and some very good friends of mine) spent almost half of 2021 working on.

Overall, 2021 was a pretty good year. Not the best for me, but the best for my channel. I can certainly say it has been much better than 2020. Hopefully this will be the beginning of more epic content to come in the future.

That being said, I wish each and every single one of you a Happy New Year and may 2022 for y'all be very blessed, hopeful, happy, healthy, positive, and uplifting.
