This anime is about Yoichi Isagi who one day returns home to an invitation from the Japan Soccer Union.
He is one of 300 strikers selected for a new project named blue lock
The goal of this project is to turn one of the selected 300 into the best striker for the japan national team.
If you lose in blue lock you will never be able to play soccer for the national team, and you are kicked out of the program.
Putting aside his ethical objections to the project,
Isagi feels compelled to fight his way to the top,
even if it means ruthlessly crushing the dreams of the other 299 strikers.
